Stuffed Punjabi Egg Parathas



Ingredients -


For Parathas:

  • Wheat flour - 1/2 kg
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Milk - 2 cups



For Stuffing:

  • Eggs - 4 (well beaten)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Onions - 2 (chopped finely)
  • Coriander leaves - 4 tsp
  • Mint leaves - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 2 (chopped finely)
  • Oil - for  frying



Procedure-



For Parathas :

  • Mix all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
  • Keep aside for 15 mins.



For Stuffing:

  • Mix all the ingredients and keep aside.
  • Make a chapati from the dough and place it on a tawa heated with oil. 
  • Put the egg mixture on the chapati and place another chapati over it and press the sides thoroughly.
  • Fry the paratha on both sides on low flame so that the egg mixture inside it gets cooked.
  • Serve hot with raita.
