Chicken and Cheese Potlis

Ingredients-


For Filling:
  • Boneless chicken - 1/4 kg
  • Onion-1 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1(chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Green chillies - 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red colour - as needed
  • Chicken tikka masala - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Cheese - 3 cubes
  • Oil - for frying

For Potlis:
  • Maida -250 gms
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp

Procedure -


For Potlis:
  • Mix together maida ,salt,and oil and knead into a smooth dough and keep aside for 30 minutes. 
  • Roll out into small rotis and slightly cook on both sides. 
  • Keep in an air-tight box.

For Filling:
  • Cut chicken into very small cubes and marinate chicken with all the above ingredients. Keep aside covered for 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and add onion and capsicum,when soft add the marinated chicken and cook until done.
  • Finally add lots of cheese and mix well.
  • Keep aside the minture to cool.

To Shape Into Potlis:
  • Spread out the roti and put a little mixture in the center. 
  • Shape into potlis by pinching together all the sides towards the center.
  • Deep fry each potli.
  • Serve hot along with ketchup.
